Sorry for my absence
Just letting you know I'm sorry I haven't been here writing in my blog. For some reason only half the page would open for me whenever I came to write an entry here on blogger. For some other reason it all seems normal today. So, I'll just get back to where I was, I gather.
I've been doing a fair bit of rereading of my recent journal. Each time I do I spend time writing about the events that almost stole hubby away from me. I keep thinking how close I came to being a widow, a terrible thing at any time of life, but one I certainly wouldn't have been prepared for. Although, it's early days for me, I know I will eventually write an entry about what I'd have done if I did lose him.
What journal entry or idea are you putting off? Is it time to write that entry or are you simply not ready yet? Write a list of things you will write in your journal about one day.
I hope you enjoy this journal writing prompt. Please leave any comments in the section below.

Ack! Missing your blog posts! :)
ReplyDeleteDo understand the need to take time off, tho.
Hope everything is going well over there.

Hey there Rift,
ReplyDeleteI've been having all kinds of things going on with my computer. That's been the main reason for my absence. I'm hoping it's all fixed and will get back to things next week. ;-)
Welcome to Blissfully Art Journaling. Hopefully that little pad in your pic will soon have something drawn or painted or pasted onto it besides words. I express myself more with drawing or painting a pic and adding a few words. You sound as if words really do spill out of you which is awe-some to me.
ReplyDeleteHope your husband is doing well. My husband had a quadruple bypass about 5 years ago and it was a big scare to us even though we knew he had heart disease. I can only imagine how it must have felt to be away from him, him in a foreign country on a trip and to suddenly fall so ill. I'll bet you've been writing like mad.
Anyhow, welcome to the group. I'll add your blog to my list I keep coming back to. Who knows, I might even learn to write more.
Oh, I forgot to add that freebird is the same as Timaree.
ReplyDeleteHi Freebird,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the welcome and for reading some of my blog entries. I'm really looking forward to trying some more visual stuff in my own journal and even sharing it online.
It has been a really difficult time with all hubby has been through, but he is improving all the time. Thanks. ;-)
Your own experience with your man sounds quite frightening, too. ;-)
Thanks again for the comment. ;-)
